Navigating the Configuration Menu (Legacy)

Overview


When you access the Legacy configuration menu on a Versatile kiosk, you'll be greeted by the main menu screen. Here, you will find various options for setting up and reconfiguring your kiosk. The options on the configuration menu are:

The options avaiilable in the menu will vary by software version

The Networking Menu contains all the network configurations currently set up on the kiosk (Current Configuration Info.) It also includes options to change network settings (Connect) and to diagnose network issues (Diagnostics)

Under Current Configuration Info, you'll find information such as the Connectivity Status, IP and MAC Addresses, and whether or not a kiosk is using a static IP address.

Connect


The Connect Menu is used to connect to a Wired or Wireless Network.

Diagnostics


The Network Diagnostics Menu contains various tools to troubleshoot network issues. These include:

  • Network Adapter Info
  • Trace Route
  • Ping/Bandwidth
  • Reset Adapter

Diagnostics


The Networking Menu contains various tools to troubleshoot various issues on your kiosk. This includes:

  • Video
  • Audio
  • Keyboard
  • Printer (Test Printing)
  • Network Connectivity

Password


The Password Menu allows users to change the kiosk administrative password.


Factory Restore


The Factory Restore Menu allows users to restore their kiosk to its initial setup state. You can do this for a variety of reasons that include, but are not limited to:

    • Moving a kiosk to a new location
    • Remove an incorrect registration key
    • Delete existing network information
    • Troubleshooting

You'll need to press the Restore button three times to begin the restore process.
