How to Clear the Registration Key on a Web Credit Cascade

Before You Begin


Before beginning the kiosk installation, be sure that you have the following:

  1. The registration key corresponding to the location being set up


After Clearing the Key


After a Registration Key is cleared from a Web Credit Cascade, a new one must be entered before resuming use.


Step-by-Step Guide


  1. Determine that the Registration Key needs to be cleared from a device
    1. Registration Keys only need to be cleared if:
      1. A device was set up with an incorrect key
      2. A device is being moved to a new location
  2. To clear the Registration Key, the device's browser cache must be cleared
    1. Clearing the browser cache will vary depending on the browser being used

  3. Once you clear the browser cache, the Web Credit Cascade will return to the Merchant Settings screen to have a new Registration Key entered
