Installing a Pro Desk Display on a Pro Desk Stand

Before You Begin

Before beginning the kiosk installation, be sure that you have the following:

1. Pro Desk Display
2. Pro Desk Stand
3. A screwdriver or Power Drill W/ Phillips Head Screw Bit

After Installation

After you install the kiosk, it must be configured for use. Please refer to the Pro Desk Configuration Guide for instructions on configuring the kiosk.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open the box with the Pro Desk display and find the display mounting bracket.  

2. Locate two screws on the right side of the bracket. Remove these screws, and place them where they can be easily found. Once the screws are removed, you will be able to swing the display bracket open.

   

3. Open the bracket.  Move the locking arm and place the end into the hole on the bottom of the right side of the bracket, as shown below.

   

4. Use the bolts provided to attach the bracket to your Pro Desk stand. 

   

   

   
   
5. Remove the stand's back plate. Connect the display power cable to the power strip inside the stand. 
6. Run the display power cord through the kiosk stand, through the large hole between the four mounting bolts, and through the opening at the bottom left of the front plate, as shown below.

7. Remove the screw that holds the back cover of the display and pry open the back cover using your thumb.

   

   

8. Plug in the power cable, replace the back cover, and put the screw back in. 

   

9. Partially fasten two screws to the top holes of the display. Make sure they are in far enough that they don’t fall out but are not too tight and can’t go into the bracket.

   

   
   
   
10. Hang the display on the display bracket, as shown below. Make sure the power cord is coming down the channel on the back of the display and not pinched by the screws when you tighten them.

11. Install and tighten the bottom two screws.
12. Tighten the top two screws.
13. Push down the locking arm and close the bracket. Ensure that none of the cords in the bracket get pinched.  If it doesn’t close easily, one of the cords is likely being pinched.
14. Once closed, replace the two screws that hold the bracket closed.  (See step 1 for reference)
